Federation Code of Conduct
- We expect members to uphold a sense of decorum and solidarity that reflects well on themselves, the Federation, and their fellows. What we do when our name is attached to the Federation reflects on all of us.
- We look for good people that espouse the values of the Federation, not just a character that checks all the right boxes. We want to build a long-standing relationship between our members, the internal Chapter(s) they are part of, and the Federation as a whole.
- If you are streaming content, please make those around you aware. If you are streaming voice chat, you MUST move to one of the voice channels marked as “Live Streaming” and receive consent from anybody currently in the channel before starting your stream.
- Strive to avoid unnecessary conflict. While it is impossible to prevent all conflict, everyone will be expected to interact respectfully and maturely with each other. We understand it’s impossible for everyone to like or be liked by everyone else. Still, showing respect and working together towards a common goal is possible.
- It is up to each member to find and communicate with their Chapter Leadership and stay up-to-date on current events and expectations. If you’re unsure who to talk to, ask, we’re more than happy to help point you in the right direction.
- Participation in Chapter and Federation events is expected. Hunts, Raids, Events, and other in-game activities occur all the time. You are expected to take place in as many of them as possible. We understand that people have lives and families outside of the Federation, so we don’t expect everybody to be at every event. Each Chapter can have separate events, tracking, and participation requirements.
- In games that allow multiple accounts/characters, it is not permitted to have a character in an opposing guild without prior consent from the Federation Council. An “opposing guild” in this context is one in which a member could participate in PvP against our own or in which having inside knowledge of the Chapter and/or Federation could cause harm to the Chapter or Federation.
- Joining a Chapter for espionage/sabotage is not permitted. This includes Federation members infiltrating other guilds to commit espionage or sabotage.
- Actively working against the guild on any mission will result in immediate and permanent removal.
- Leadership roles are based on demonstrated ability, need, and willingness to lead. Not all decisions or information can be made public. However, we assure you that Leadership is looking to ensure the community is fun, safe, and rewarding for everyone.
