Firalyn, Fey Touched Owlbear

When Renmaeth first began to Dream in her slumber, she recalled many of the creatures her and her sister Cedhelieth had devised together in Tharador. The Owlbear, like many other creatures, was dreamt by her – reimagined in a more perfect form as a beast that was at one with the plants from which it initially stemmed. Thus the Fey Touched Owlbears came to be, owing to an ancestry within the Fey Realm they became more plantlike with each generation.

Those within the realm of Melwyn followed suit in becoming twisted and gnarled at times as the wrathful Fey Spirit did. Some less so than others, but still had their hearts wrought with anger as well at the destruction of their homeland. In such anger Melwyn summoned many from the Fey to roam the edges of his woods, where they would quickly pounce on foresters and feast on them.

Those like Firalyn that became favoured as exceptional hunters were gifted by Melwyn with the Feywalking ability, able to move between the Fey and Physical world at will. Only a few possess this power among the Owlbears, but those that do are apex predators, able to apparate from opposing planes, unseen, before striking down their prey.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
