Orodwys, Powered Golem

Orodwys was the name of the Sorcerer whose soul inhabits the Golem. Having contracted an illness of which no healers could ever permanently cure, transference of soul came as the last option to the great sorcerer in a very experimental move that was condemned by many boards of ethics. Progress should not be bound by arbitrary moral codes was the thoughts of those that organised the procedure.

It was a success, for Orodwys now could continue his life and research albeit confined to stone and arcane. Though the Magistrates had else planned for him, with aim to use him in the repelling of invaders in Leacianus’ south. Ignorant to Orodwys who had been in stasis for the entirety of the Liturium War, he was shipped southward to Tara to aid in its defense.

The caravan transporting him was ransacked by Coalition specialists, the lead crate which held him left untouched amidst the road as Orodwys continued to sleep ignorant to what had happened. It was only after Arcelen felt the surge of energy within, even through the lead that the golem finally awoke. Though Orodwys’ own will was now gone, and only in horror could he watch on as the Arcane Elemental controlled his golem’s body, using it against elves and men alike in slaughters which he wished no part of.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
