Tiranite, Obsidian Demon

Tiranite was a devastating warrior in Mindoriel’s army. Personally responsible for hundreds of deaths, the demon was a master at the art of fire breathing, able to clear hectares of forests in mere minutes, something that would devastate the elven armies and druids that sought the thicket for cover. In the war’s waning days Tiranite would often be on the offensive as it seemed Mindoriel came closer to delivering utter defeat to Tharador.

When Mindoriel was severed and defeated by Glanion and Minera, Tiranite and many of his kin fell immediately dormant. Tiranite lay within the forests of Formire in modern Belfrie, and wouldn’t be discovered until well into the Third Era. Sold in auction in Velandria, Tiranite along with Artyr were shipped to Strassen to fill Duke Strauss’ wishes of his intimidating keep. Sent to the catacombs, Tiranite was out of sight from public eye, save from priests, underkeepers and any others whose jobs found themselves in the catacombs.

At his revival, Tiranite incinerated one such Priest of Namneri who was unfortunate enough to be in front of the demon as his life force returned. Without knowledge of his purpose or surroundings, he wandered the catacombs lost for nearly a day before being found by a stoneskinned succubus, Vehryn. With his situation understood, Tiranite agreed to join Vehryn in her cause to eradicate the vampires of the town, though Tiranite cares little for the town’s wellbeing, hoping to eradicate any followers of Tharador or his Tharameni children.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
