Byrilwyn, Dragon of the Arcane

Dragons in Leacianus were the first original beings of that land. When the elves constructed The Dome that held them trapped within they rebelled, laying war with the Triumvirate in the first century of the founding. Though the two eventually brokered a peace when much life was lost on both sides, the Dragon’s given and taught breath by the High Elves so that they might be able to leave the Dome at will and travel to and fro Leacianus as they pleased.

Generations passed with Breath manifesting greater in each age of dragon. By Byrilwyn’s birth the draconic ancestry had been diluted with the fonts of magic imbibed by the dragons over millennia. Byrilwyn herself is thus not seen as kindred by her still living ancestors. Her mastery of Breath however is stronger than any such ancestors, being able to infuse her draconic fires with any of the elements and indeed cast powerful spells and curses from her draconic breath too. She wandered far westward to foreign lands over the sea in her youth, returning with knowledge of those western dragons which were revered as gods. She thus aimed to bring her family over the sea with her to a land safer for them as war engulfed Leacianus, though in their stubbornness none would move. With Arcelen’s reemergence, she worries that herself and her family may be the targets of its essence drain or domination of their minds.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
