Brohd, The Resilient Gargoyle

Brohd was the result of an experiment gone awry by a mad human wizard centuries ago. Obsessed with animation and necromancy, the wizard commissioned a demonic sculpture to be made by a local artist. Intending to use Brohd as his enforcer should any villagers try to halt his research, the wizard was forceful and cruel to Brohd from his first day of life. It did not take long for the statue to lose patience with its creator, breaking free from the cage it was held in, a single backhand smack against the wizard saw his spine crumble and him die nearly instantly.

A few days later a visitor from a neighboring wizard school arrived, seeing the scene they quickly used their own Liturium amulet to halt the animation of the statue. Refusing to destroy such a magnificent work, the stone was embedded within and the statue sold along with the rest of the wizard’s estate in a charity auction for the school.

Duke Strauss of Strassen held the highest bid, taking Brohd back to Gehr Keep and having him perched upon the great stairway leading into the keep’s doors. When Vehryn noticed the giant carving, she had a nearby servant pry out the Liturium gem from its body, giving life to the creature once more. Though still unsure if he wished to be a follower, he felt under the wing of Vehryn he held more autonomy than he did as a slave several centuries ago.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
