Many of Tharador’s greatest creatures were dreamt of by Renmaeth when she turned to endless sleep. Hydra’s were among them, and those that were recreated in her dreamstate had enormous power and presence in the Fey and even in the woodlands of Tharador. They like many of the strongest creatures of the Fey were gifted with the power to phase from Thardaor to the Fey at will. Though most refused to enter Tharador unless absolutely necessary, for the waters and the airs of Renmaeth’s Dream were purer than those in Tharador.

Volitra is one of the elder Hydra, calling the River Syndi Duin within the Fringe its home. Though it has never bowed to any master of Gwynevel or Melwyn, it found itself lulled and charmed by the promises of Torgothrin. Thus it joined his side, so that the rivers and woods of its homeland may be cleansed and no threat would come to it from the Men of Baldur.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
