Meloth the Watcher

In the Underground of Lo Fuin prowls creatures just as deadly as those that walk the swampy surface. Meloth the Watcher is holds contender as one of the deadliest and oldest, holding a body count in the hundreds over its centuries of age. The Watcher guards the exit of Iriksha to the surface, ensuring no overly brave Drow make their way outwards, and those that do might think they are guided by the light given by Meloth’s body.

Though in fact this light is a lure used to bring Prey to the enormous spider, who quickly devours any to be fooled by the trap. Cultists and followers of Irinax worship Meloth as a saint and a protector of Iriksha from outsiders, as often entire parties of outsiders have been found as nothing but bones and their armour within the spider’s nest.

The long webs Meloth spins around its lair are often enough to deter would be explorers, but those that ignore the signs quickly find themselves lost or stuck. The lone light in the cave often leads them to believe it to be a way out or a Drow marker, though their hope curdles to dread very quickly.

The information below applies to most products on this site. Any exceptions will be noted in the individual item descriptions.

Size references (Medium, Large, Huge, etc.) are done at a 28mm(1″) scale using standard D&D rules. This means that minis will have a size commensurate with the diameter of their base:

  • Small/Tiny – 1″ diameter base or smaller (depends on the mini)
  • Medium – 1″ diameter base
  • Large – 2″ diameter base
  • Huge – 3″ diameter base
  • Gargantuan – typically uses a 4″ diameter base. If the base size is different, it will be noted in the listing.

32mm (heroic scale) miniatures may have bases that are slightly larger.

75mm (display scale) miniatures will typically have a base that is around 3″. Models in this size will have their actual dimensions in their description

  • Product images may include renders, special effects, and/or custom paint that may not be indicative of the received product. We will be adding actual photos of the printed objects as we produce them. If you would like us to send a photo of anything in our shop that doesn’t already have one prior to shipping, please let us know and we’ll be happy to oblige.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all products are 3d-printed in gray with either an ABS-like resin or PLA. This ensures the products are durable but still hold their detail
  • We still recommend handling the products with care as many have very fine, delicate features that can still be easily broken
  • Because of the production process, there may be slight variations, indentations, or rough edges that need to be cleaned up before use/painting
  • Some models require assembly, which may involve sanding, filing, and/or fillers for gaps and seams
  • Dice towers are printed hollow with 2.5mm thick walls. This is to ensure that we are able to provide them at a reasonable price but still have enough strength to hold up to use and packing/unpacking at the gaming table.
  • We perform a thorough inspection of every product before it’s shipped to ensure that it is something that we would be proud to display on our own tables.
